While hiking in Jasper Alberta, July 2007, I found this lovely piece of art. Being a craft person and art lover I felt sad for the one that lost it and always just adored it for the intricate painting. I recently came upon this sight Summit Stones & Adventure Musings... By DSD and was thrilled to find out I was meant to find it.

Finished stitched piece. I decided to make mine into a pincushion.



I cut a piece of mat board the size of the stitched piece and put glue on the back.

Laced the stitched piece over the mat board.

stuffed with polyfil

pulled lacing tight

Glued to ruler. Ta DA!

Stitched this for our annual Sampler Guild ornament exchange.  I always adored this cute design and thought this was the perfect occasion since I feel the  women in our Guild are Sister Stitchers
