Shepherds Bush Wandering Vine afghan

I promised this to my youngest for Christmas this year. Its been a fun quick stitch using the #5 threads on Anne Cloth. Squeezing it in between samplers & other commitments has been a challenge tho. Now to get the border completed.

That Shepherds Bush Afghan really is quite cute - I havn't seen that design - is that a new pattern? I would love to do this one for my daughter.

Thank you. No its an old pattern. Very easy to stitch on the Anne cloth using #5 perle threads. I saw it also stitched using all 6 strands of dmc and it was gorgeous.

oh Patti, what a wonderful gift. It came out beautiful.
So smart to use #5 rather than 6 strands of DMC.
Can you imagine trying to keep every one of those 6 strands from twisting and tangling together and making yucky looking stitches?!
