Left Rose is 3 dimensional. A layer of red raised detached buttonhole and then topped with another layer of detached buttonhole petals.

WIP Jenny Bean Halloween...need tip on thread sorting


I'm going to stitch this wonderful sampler.

Its a great piece not just for Halloween.

 

Here's my fabric and threads.

The threads on the left I had no problem with.

Nightmare, Dried Blood, and Sarcophagus were pretty easy to tell.



 








These were the ones I can't figure out.

They are: Coffin Lid, Witch's Wort, Swamp Water,

Zombie Flesh and Burial Ground

yet they all look so much alike.

Scarlett Letter SAL project: Ann Kirby progress




I stitched the eyelet border top and sides to establish my boundary. I found it easier to count then the vine.  I changed the colour of the berries to the darker shade of pink since the Ivory didn’t show up well.


I still used the Ivory for the name part even tho' it doesn't show up well.

I will finish the year when I finish the sampler. Hopefully it will be in this decade.
