This is the 2nd one of these I have done. The first was in pink for my mom. This is for my daughter's new home. Stitched on 28 ct linen w/ DMC floss.

Lanarte Haenraets Flowers

 Finished this to go with a vase I have full of similiar flowers. It is  stitched on 28 ct Cream Laguna

The frame is simple yet the stitching stands out-

My wonderful biscornu

This is the biscornu I got from Jenn in an exchange. It is huge and has these cutest little frog princes on them ie: The Frog & the Princess. I just love it. It is a Barbara Ana Designs called

Being German I just loved this design when I saw it. I stitched it on 28 ct

sand linen using DMC floss.

My Mailart

This was my first Mailart exchange and I truly enjoyed it. my recipient loves Blackbird Designs so I took Quaker Garden motifs and bands from the chart. They wouldn't let me take a picture of it after I stamped it in the Post Office. This is the front.

The back opened-the fabric is Blackbird Design fabric with little birds.

The back-I found a lovely button at JoAnns of a red cardinal which I attached on the way to the Post Office.

Victoria Sampler Summer Biscornu

I stitched this for a biscornu exchange-it was a VS freebie-isn't it lovely? I used 28 ct linen and DMC linen threads and chinese silk.

Mary Beale Sampler Wreath

Such a wonderful easy design to stitch. The finishing was a little tricky. Stitched on Natural Belfast linen using DMC floss. Now to shape it.

Finally got my ornie for February sewed. It is Shepherd's Bush Santa's Flight from the JCS Ornie issue 2009

March is also from the same magazine. I did one before for an exchange and loved it. It is a Jeanette Douglas Design.

Crochet baby layette

My niece in England is due in May. She's having a little boy so I made these for her.

One set is new born and the other 12 mth size

The samplers used for the box was designed by one of the members of our Sampler Guild, Janice Wood. I used a 28Ct Sandstone linen- and NIP silk
