Mary Beale Sampler Wreath

Such a wonderful easy design to stitch. The finishing was a little tricky. Stitched on Natural Belfast linen using DMC floss. Now to shape it.

Hi Patti,

That is beautiful. Mary Beale is one of my favorite designers!

You did a wonderful job on this, I love Mary Beale's patterns. They are so pretty stitched up. I have some of her older patterns that are only black and white, so you don't really know how they will look finished. I have this wreath pattern and have always loved it, but the finishing looks way too hard!!!Thanks for sharing.

Patti - It looks wonderful. That is just the greatest thing. I've had that pattern in my stash for years and it comes to mind every so often, but I've never pulled it out. Now I think I have to. Yours came out wonderful!!

I finished stitching this wreath back in 2006 and I still haven't had the nerve to finish it! I can't bear to cut it!
