Finished and framed. All the letters on the right side are my fathers ancestry and the left side my mother's. The bottom has my siblings, children and their fathers. My current husband and mine together at the top. I added MW inside the green wreath as a tribute to Mary. I taped all the info about the sampler on the back. I also changed her name to mine in the center. I am proud of this piece.

Gorgeous!! I love how you incorpoarated family initials.
Your "Mary" is lovely. And wasn't she fun to stitch? It was my first actual reproduction sampler, but I also changed all the initials to those of my family (and with 4 kids + their spouses, and 12 grandkids, I was easily able to fill the spaces lol)
Patti, it looks great !!! I can't wait to see it when you show us at the Sampler Guild.
Gorgeous! congratulations -- you should be proud of it.
Awesome finish - looks great!
Gorgeous. And what a good idea as I begin my first sampler like this--I'm going to use your idea of putting the initials of loved ones into the design.
