Sachay scarves: difference between crocheting and knitting

The crochet on the right is a swirly style ribbon where the knitted one on the left is a layered ruffle.

Thanks for posting this. I am a crocheter and was always curious to know how different they would look. I use this (and similar) "yarns" to make a spiral shawl. Go to Ravelry.com and search for Kelp Forest Shawlette pattern....I love this and have made quite a few!
